International Coordinating Centres (ICCs)
  • The Copenhagen ICC is based at the Copenhagen HIV Programme offices at Rigshospitalet, University of Copenhagen, Denmark. The Copenhagen HIV Program is also coordinating the large EuroSIDA and D:A:D observational cohort studies.
  • The London ICC is based at the Medical Research Council (MRC) Clinical Trials Unit in London, UK. The MRC coordinated the conduct of trials such as Concorde, Alpha, Delta and INITIO.
  • The Sydney ICC is based at the National Centre in HIV Epidemiology and Clinical Research (NCHECR) offices at The Kirby Institute, UNSW Sydney Australia. The Kirby Institute was established in 1986 in response to the then emerging HIV epidemic and now contributes to knowledge on a broad range of diseases, including viral hepatitis and sexually transmissible infections
  • The Washington ICC is based at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center and is affiliated with George Washington University in Washington, DC, USA. This group served as the Chair's office for the CPCRA.
