CHIP is the appointed coordinating centre of the newly formed International Cohort Consortium of Infectious Disease (RESPOND) which has been formed with the guiding principle to allow for continued outstanding research collaboration between HIV cohorts across the European continent and beyond.
EuroSIDA is a founding partner and major stakeholder of RESPOND and will be contributing patient data towards RESPOND, together with other cohorts participating in the consortium. EuroSIDA will continue its activities as a separate cohort with its own research agenda and will retain its own Steering Committee, but will also contribute data towards the larger RESPOND database.
EuroSIDA will be represented in the RESPOND Executive Committee as well as in the Scientific Steering Committee and in the various scientific interest groups into which EuroSIDA provides data.
